Bloodmoon creatures, bosses and spawns have now been brought in line with the rest of Morrowind Rebirth's changes.It's a good idea to keep 3+ saves at a time and just cycle through saving over them as you go along. So far, I haven't had a problem, but ymmv. It's a good idea to save that for last, and make an extra save before starting it. Lastly, I have heard from two other Xbox players that there may be a direct link between the Bloodmoon expansion and a save corrupting bug. Restarting the game will also alleviate it, but takes longer than just warping away and back. After jumping to another area or two, you can return to the area where you heard the scratchiness without issue. You just need to get the game to flush it's audio, so s aving and reloading in the same cell might not always work. It's loud, startling, and very rare and only seems to happen after warp, fast travel, going outdoors - basically a map/cell transition - but it's easy to fix: just transition to a different cell. Instead of the game crashing, you get an effect where sounds (rain, I think) get garbled in memory. This is part of a crash issue way back on the Original Xbox, but the One/Series hypervisor is far more resilient. You may also run into a bug upon loading a cell where the audio gets loud and scratchy. You are going to want to learn a Command Humanoid spell to occasionally reposition them, as you get deeper into your campaign. This can cause some important npcs, like the silt strider merchant outside Vivec City, to eventually fall in the water and drown. However, there is a different bug where actors slightly shift as you do more stuff in a cell. I freed all 140ish slaves (yes, *all*), soul-trapped the entire House Dagoth, completed the Tribunal Temple, House Telvanni & Hlaalu quests (through a glitch), as well as the main and Tribunal expansion and still don't have any issues. The BackCompat emulator/hypervisor does run better than real hardware, so it *can* muscle passed a lot of low memory problems. Today, most people will be fine with saves up into the 350 block range on current gen consoles.

It can cause corruption to the structure of the save, but most often, it just overwhelmed the original Xbox & 360 hardware emulator. Basically, as you do more in your campaign, a lot of junk data accumulates in the file as well. It's not really about how *old* the save is, but how *complex* it is. Now, playing morrowind on console with near zero load times? Amazing lol. And no, an option to toggle off a minimap is not a substitute for a game being built with this stuff in mind from the get go. Of course IвЂ™m not always in the mood for this, but you get what I mean. Because of this I do really value games like morrowind and Everquest because exploration is a primary part of the gameplay, not just following a flashing ui icon. Whether thatвЂ™s good or bad is up to the player but personally I find thereвЂ™s a lot more player reward and accomplishment feelings when not literally given point to point instructions so accurately. Like I get it, and understand it has a place, but it also changes the dynamics of a game in a radical way and you simply get a different experience. ItвЂ™s far less intimate as far as getting to actually know your environment and figuring things out organically rather than robotically. Yes, itвЂ™s convenient, but itвЂ™s now so prevalent that the world itself becomes fairly trivial and boiled down to chasing a floating marker on your screen or compass. ItвЂ™s actually a core part of experience thatвЂ™s lost in modern games with the heavy amount of handholding gamers are conditioned to expecting.
